3 cups Rice Chex cereal
3 cups Crispix cereal
2 cups pretzels
2 cups pecan halves
1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup light brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt
Instructions:
Mix the Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the Corn Chex, Rice Chex,
Crispix, pretzels, and pecans. Toss gently to ensure even distribution.
Prepare the Praline Coating: In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium
heat. Add the brown sugar and salt, stirring frequently. Bring the mixture to a
boil and allow it to bubble for 1-2 minutes.
Coat the Mix: Pour the hot praline mixture over the cereal and pretzel blend.
Toss gently to ensure that everything is evenly coated.
Bake and Stir: Spread the coated mixture evenly onto a rimmed baking sheet.
Bake at 250°F (120°C) for 10 minutes, then remove and stir.
Continue Baking: Return the pan to the oven and bake for an additional 45
minutes, stirring every 15 minutes to ensure even cooking.
Cool and Store: Once baked, allow the mix to cool completely. Store in an
airtight container to maintain freshness.
